Plain English, without hiding the estimates.
Each row is one disclosed transaction. Trade date is when it happened; filing date is when it became public.
Filings report brackets. Totals add the low ends and high ends separately; midpoint sorting uses the arithmetic midpoint of that range.
The member simulation enters on trade dates and sizes positions using bracket estimates. Low and high reruns make the displayed percentage band.
The copy simulation enters on filing dates. Every disclosed buy adds one equal-size unit. Buying an already-held stock adds another unit, doubling its relative weight versus a one-unit stock; all other stocks reweight proportionally so the portfolio remains at 100%. Full sales close the stock and partial sales halve its units. Dollar brackets are never used.
Every reconstruction starts at 0%. SPY is measured as a percentage return over the same dates as the selected period.
Hit Rate scores buys and sales against SPY only after 30 or 90 days has elapsed. Period median filing delay uses trades in the selected period and recomputes; all-time median uses every available trade and stays fixed. Green is 0–22 days, grey 23–35, and amber 36–45. Period red means its median or any filing in that period exceeded 45; all-time red means its median or any filing ever exceeded 45.
Stock since compares the stock with SPY from the trade date. Unpriceable assets remain visible but do not enter return metrics.
Members counts distinct politicians. Buy share is buys divided by buys plus sells; exchanges and unpriceable assets are excluded.
